Autobiography DeLaCube, aka Carl Granados, is a photographer that works with pictures like some do with words. He weaves images with a style that has roots in photojournalism yet he also changes literal moments into metaphors that transcends them. He forms stories about the outer world he captures and the inner one in us that relates to it. A private investor and financial planner stumbled unto photography at middle age. Surprising himself with the discovery that he could produce work that was rewarding to his critical standards, he has decided to dedicated a good part of his life to following his muse. The following are a few samples of a few of the various projects that he is currently working on. DeLaCube has won various regional contests and shows in various galleries in the Western North Carolina mountains. |
